Hawkstone 2007!!

 The 400 race started ok with a decent start. Dan was running a safe 3rd until the last but one corner where he fell off (pic on cover of amca anniversary book) and had trouble to start the bike again. He still finished 3rd but the results said he was out of the top 6.

 The 250 race didn`t start so well. It was Dan`s first race on the 250 Husky and after hitting the gate and stalling the bike Dan started dead last and with a short 3 lap race had a lot of work to do. He managed to come through from last to 3rd!!

Hawkstone 2006!!

 Dan recived a letter from the amca 3 days before the race saying that they were "unhappy with a youngster of 15 years old compeating at the event with such experienced riders". However after a few phonecalls and explaining to them that Dan was leading the welsh classic chamionship at the time, they changed their minds and allowed Dan to race as the youngest ever rider to race the event.

 Dan was the only rider to even attempt to clear this jump on the 400 Husky!! Only did it the once though as the suspension was a bit harsh!!

 The races didn`t go to plan though as the bike was overheating all the time!! Dan only finished one race but we all had a great weekend in the sun.
